Counselling at Sanctuary
At Sanctuary Counselling & Art Therapy, we understand that life can sometimes feel overwhelming. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, grief, relationship difficulties, life transitions, or simply feeling stuck, counselling provides a safe, confidential space to explore your thoughts and feelings without judgment.
What is counselling?
Counselling is a collaborative process where you are supported to gain insight, process emotions, and develop tools to manage life’s challenges. It’s not about giving advice, but about walking alongside you—helping you clarify what’s important, make empowered decisions, and reconnect with your strengths.
The Sanctuary approach
Our counselling sessions are gentle, client-centred, and trauma-informed. You are always in control of what you choose to share. We work at your pace, in a way that feels comfortable and respectful.
You may also choose to combine counselling with art therapy, allowing space for creative exploration if words feel too difficult. This integrated approach can deepen self-understanding and healing.
